Renaissance Kingdoms, a medieval roleplay which is played over an area covering Ireland in the West, all the way across to Turkey in the East.

 

MONDAY 24th August 2009: NEW FIELDS - NEW WORKSHOPS - NEW OBJECTS - NEW MINES

We have added bits and bobs just about everywhere in the Kingdoms; fields that are specific to particular regions, as well as new objects: wine from various lands, salt mines, ham, whisky and whiskey, cider, salt... Now hop to it, get working in your fields and the mines!

WEDNESDAY 19th AUGUST 2009: CATHEDRAL ONLINE - CHANGES MADE TO THE HUNGER RULES (LEVEL 3)

As of this week, each town has access to the cathedral, so that bishops and archbishops may name the local priests. Furthermore, we have changed the way that hunger plays a role in RK: levels 3 and 4 must now eat 3 points worth of food every day to relieve their hunger, as opposed to the 2 points they had to account for before (which was and is still the case for levels 0,1 and 2). THURSDAY 30th JULY 2009: ARENAS!

Here at Celsius, we don't go lazing around sunbathing on sandy beaches during the summer holidays, we work hard on bringing new elements to RK! As of this date, a new place can be found and accessed from all town screens: The Arena. You can go there and settle old rivalries with your worst enemies, with the bouts decided by the rules of the art of fighting as explained in the "Announcements" forum!

Municipal taxes have now been reactivated. What's changed?
- Mayors can now tell who hasn't paid their taxes.

SATURDAY 7TH FEBRUARY 2009 : TO CELEBRATE ST. VALENTINE'S DAY, WIN REAL BOUQUETS OF FLOWERS

Saturday 14th february is the day of lovers. If you wish to bring love and happiness to those closest to you, it's now or never. For one whole week you'll be able to send presents to players of your choice, who will receive them on St. Valentine's Day.
NEW: Two real bouquets of flowers to be won: The person receiving the highest amount of presents on St. Valentine's Day will also receive a real bouquet of flowers! Furthermore, the person who sends the highest amount of presents on this special occasion, will be able to send a real bouquet to any person of his choice.

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 28, 2009: LEVEL 4

One of the biggest updates ever: level 4 has arrived! Renaissance Kingdoms is now made up of five levels, from 0 to 4. This is not just another simple brick in the wall: level 4 will revolutionise RK as you know it, particularly in terms of economic issues, international trade and relations between different states. Production has now become more diverse as well as regional. New workshops can be built. You can now eat rare delicacies, build your very own mansion, hire domestic help and basically live a grand life in the lap of luxury. Although, avoid excess at all costs! Counties are now more or less prestigious depending on the strength of their economy, the organization of celebrations and their military victories. Prestige now has a particular influence on Council administration and the role of armies. More information is available on the forum.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 5TH, 2008: BRAND NEW CLOTHES

As well as new look character profiles, in order to offer a greater variety in your wardrobe weavers and blacksmiths are now able to produce a total of 14 new items of clothing between them, each in a dozen different colours. More information on the forum.
